The photographic series BLINDSPOT serves as a metaphorical representation of the presence of the absent and the visibility of that which is invisible. The depicted elements, including the shelter, the mihrab carpet, and the body cast, symbolically reference concepts of refuge and the appropriation of anonymous spaces for living and prayer. The sacred atmosphere conveyed in this work pertains to themes of belief and hope in relation to identity and otherness, as well as intimacy and home(lessness).
